TLMDPropertyInspector: sometimes setting of a property is executed two times.

If I work with the property inspector and input a value that is not allowed and will be resetted by my setter of the instance, then TLMDPropertyInspector sometimes sets the value a second time. Additional my setter of the instance shows an error message. Can you reproduce this?

  • Additional Information:
I can reproduce that the MessageDlg I show is the reason why TLMDPropertyInspector executes the setting two times, perhaps for the reason that the focus changes to the MessageDlg an back.
  • This may be the reason. Usual way to implement checking of value inside property setter - is to raise an exception. Can you try it?
  • I tried it, but the behaviour is the same. Exception window also is a modal window as the MessageDlg.
  • Ok, I'll check. However, its strange, because even simple integer property editor can raise an exception, when input string is not a number. So, this is quite usual case.
  • Yes, I can reproduce this also. For example try a string in an integer property two times then you get two exception windows after your second try.
  • The same problem exists if I use InspectorDemo from your download site.

The bug has been fixed. If you have access to LMD GIT, you can update sources right now.
