LMDDocking source code modification and distribution questions.

Good day,

Could you clarify situation for following questions:

1. I had a need to save the dockingpanel not at XML-file format, but in database, for this I decided to create my own steamer-class, but this required more higher level access to the fields and methods of the object, and i need to modify source code, and recompile project for this. Can i do this?

2. Can i use compiled BPL-library with program which linked with runtime packages?
