TLmdIniCtrl how to detect file access restrictions

An application using LMDTools tries to access an INI File that is located in the program directory.
No problme with standard PCs, but on a system that has limited access rights
we now had the case that the INI file could not be opened for reading.
We do not get any error,
accessing INI file entries simply behaves like they do not exist.
Is ther a method within IniCtrl to check for correct access of the file ?
(Of course, I can just try to open the file normally...it is just for convenience)...

  • Hi,

There no such methods in the control itself. As you correctly noted, you can use WinAPI directly to check file access attributes.
