TElXTree: Scroll Right button causes a slight jerk to the right but not a change

When using the button on the right of the horizontal scrollbar, there is a slight movement to the right of just a few pixels, and then the original position is returned to.

Moving the scrollbar works fine

What could be causing this behaviour, and how could I fix it?

Setting UseCustomScrollbars to True makes it scroll correctly with the arrow-buttons.

Why might this be so?

UseCustomScrollBars enables ElPack scrollbars. Those can be simpler controlled than system scrollbars.
