ElXTree: ShowLeafButton causes a + to be displayed for leaves, not a point

In the Help for ShowLeafButton:

"Specifies whether to show the button image for the items that don't have
children. If ShowLeafButton is set to true, a point in the box is drawn for
"leaves"."

However, a dot does not appear; a + appears.

Is this a bug or is something else to be done to get the dot?

    No this is not a bug.

    A "button" rererences here to a "+" - button for expanding branch. If node is a leaf, that is, it has no children, then there is nothing to expand, so by default the "+" button is hidden for leaves.
