Syntax Editor - Drag and Drop

The syntax editor handles drag and drop from/to itself but I don't see that it allows dragging text from an external source such as a text box. There are no public events such as OnDragDrop and OnDragOver. Am I missing something?

Is it possible to support OnDragDrop and OnDragOver event on syntax editor viewer component?

Currently, there are no way to use these events. Moreover, internally, this functionality is used to implement selected text dragging.
