    Some elements, including teExplorerBar, are simply not implemented in Delphi's VCL Styles (unlike Windows system style). There empty function bodies in style services. This was the reason of the error, and it's definitely a Delphi's bug.

    So, I've disabled styling of the control in VCL Style mode. I see no other way.
