DockPanel Compatibility with VCL Styles

Can you clarify for me what the level of compatibility is between VCLStyles and DockPanels? It appears as though they do not reflect VCLStyle settings and components placed on them generally don't reflect VCLStyles (Tpanel, tbevel) but some components placed on a DockPanel do style automatically (e.g., TButton). Is there any way to do use the built-in Delphi VCLStyles capability in conjunction with docking? Does the LMDTools pack add this capability to the docking system?

Hi,

DockingPack has its own style system, which has no relarion to VCL styles. This is because VVCL styles just has no required elements for drawing docking UI. However, docking pack does not prevent other child controls to be drawn with VCL styles.
