Does LMDGrid support Typeahead?

If I have a picklist chooser in a particular column of the grid with say the values 'Andrew, Bob and Charles', I would like to be able to select Andrew automatically if the user types in A and likewise for Bob and Charles. Is this possible?

    Unfortunately this is not currently supported. 
    I'll consider this for one of next releases, but its actually not so simple to implement (imagine case where more than one item is started with 'A' - need some filtering in drop-down list).
    Also, this will not work for lookup fields in db-grid version.
