I get a Control ' ' has no parent Window message

I have to set the dblClick event for a Teltreeinplaceedit control; This is my line:
eltreeinplaceedit1.editor.OnDblClick :=  treeCompDblClick;
I get the message Control ' ' has no parent Window.
I am using ElPack4 and cannot change...
Can I fix this somehow ?

It's coming immediately after the ondblclick event that I wrote
